Just had to Post this!

All White

I've gotta say that black and white are hands down my favourite shades. One's elegant and the other classy.
The 'white on white' phenomenon however is a 'must beat ensemble' (gotta have, gotta wear). Once you do try this look you'll definitely  want to wear it over and over again. Well, maybe the fact that I attended an all girls catholic school that wears an all white uniform makes me a little biased to the white on white attire. But this look has never failed and will never once its properly executed, so give it a try!

The Little Black Dress

Every woman needs that 'all purpose' little black dress. Black is right for every body type. Coco Channel made no mistake when she introduced this ideology to every fashionista and in extension every woman. Make sure you secure your 'lil black' dress the holiday season; you never know when it may come in handy!

Fashion Aficiando

Nothing’s wrong with being a Fashion Aficionado!

By Kimberley Bremmer
2013

It’s difficult to define fashion using one word, a sentence or phrase. The truth is that the word fashion is like a chameleon taking on varied meanings and connotations subjective to individual perception. Whatever character fashion takes on, one thing is always true, fashion is contagious and unavoidable. It’s like an everlasting wild fire or a disease spreading rapidly causing an epidemic and despite what you may believe; fashion influences everyone in ways we don’t even discern.

Fashion or style? Which one is more important?

Fashion is for a time but your style is authentic. Your style is what makes you stand out even when wearing something that seems to be omnipresent. Although this is factual it is important for you to assess whether there is too much of one thing and look for the next “big thing”.

What is Fashionable is comparable to some relationships; may be there for awhile but never forever. With this in mind, you should always be prepared to part with your new found fashion love or find ways of recreating it by transforming what is fashionable to what “you’re styling”. There is no debate; style overrides fashion and it’s what makes you stand out as a Fashionista.

Appearance says a lot!

Your apparel says a million words without you speaking and this is why appearance is often used to assess an individual. You should always remember that what you wear reflects who you are and suggests certain characteristics.

As such, time must be taken when selecting attire that suites your body type and the occasion. Don’t be afraid to express who you are through your clothing.

“Every day is a fashion show and the world is the runway” – Coco Chanel.
